Built by a musician who needed the instrument to exist.
TORCH DAW was created and invented by Shawn A. Rogers AKA Markus Fire—an independent Black musician, producer, and builder. It is designed around the real work of turning an idea into a finished record: linear recording, pattern creation, deep MIDI editing, third-party instruments, sound design, mixing, and accessibility in one original workflow.
TORCH is building its own path with musicians close to the decisions. The goal is a professional creative home where people are heard, their work is respected, and the platform can grow without losing its independence.
